About
Michele King is an intersisciplinary artist who investigates feedback loops between memory, place, identity, and social relationships. In addition to painting, she is engaged in long-term collaborative work about inclusive communities and neuroplasticity. Michele’s studio is in 1890 Bryant Studios in the San Francisco Mission District. Her work has been exhibited in the US and Europe. Michele has received grant awards from the Center for Cultural Innovation, Bay Area Video Coaltion, and Jiwar Creation & Society (with funding from City of Barcelona Intercultural Office) among others.
