Michele King creates mixed media paintings, drawings, textile and paper projects. Her content is between imagination and reality, including individual and holistic perspectives. Combined with field studies, photos, collage, writing, audio and video recordings, Michele's practice is an experiential composite of the seen and unseen world.
Michele's work has been exhibited in the United States, France, and Spain. Most recently she received a creative research grant in Barcelona where she investigated the intimate complexity from which we relate to the city (the color of belonging blog post).
